GREENEDGE – 2016

The GREENEDGE project was dedicated to the study of the spring bloom development in the Baffin Bay and at an ice camp site based in Qikiqtarjuaq. Samples were collected over 3 months in 2016 both at the ice camp below ice and during a sea cruise on board the canadian ice-breaker Amundsen. Samples were observed in lugol fixed samples at the laboratory and in SEM on a Phenom Pro (courtesy of D. Vaulot and I. Probert). Both sea-ice and planktonic species were observed.
